The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of specialists at the territorial level and focused on topics related to data collection and its necessity, the role of social assistance structures, service providers, and local public administration authorities at both levels in the process of completing the questionnaire.
Additionally, during the training activities, participants engaged in practical exercises under the supervision of trainers, simulating the completion of the statistical form and identifying respondents to ensure the quality of data collected from the field.
It is noteworthy that Statistical Form No. 9 is used to collect statistical data aimed at providing assistance to victims of domestic violence. These indicators are important for understanding the specific characteristics of domestic violence at the local, territorial, and national levels, recognizing the capabilities of the social assistance system regarding the identification, registration, documentation, and sectoral intervention in cases of domestic violence, as well as for developing and promoting effective policies for the prevention and combat of domestic violence.
The training is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, with support from UN Women Moldova, as part of the EVOLVE4GE Project: Accelerating Gender Equality by Empowering Women through Economic Opportunities, Combating Violence, and Gender-Sensitive Governance, funded by the European Union and supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
