On November 26, 2021, at 1:00 PM, a training session took place at the Ministry of Internal Affairs for representatives of the Operational Management Inspectorate, under the title "Raising Awareness and Informing about the Right of Women and Men to Equal Treatment in the Performance of Service and Balancing Family Life with Professional Life."
From the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the following participated:
Lilia Pascal (Head of the Gender Equality Protection Policy Department) addressed the subject of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign and the results of the collaboration between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the prevention and combat of violence against women and domestic violence, including the implementation of the Action Plan of the National Strategy for the Prevention and Combating of Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence for the years 2018-2023.
Alexandru Ghețu, Head of the Labor Relations Policy Directorate, spoke about the right of women and men to equal treatment in the performance of service, specifically regarding working hours and employee guarantees.
The training was part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
