Public Lesson: "Multidisciplinary Approach to Combating Domestic Violence"

As part of the "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" campaign, on November 28, 2022, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection organized a public lesson titled "Multidisciplinary Approach to Combating Domestic Violence" in partnership with Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Center for Assistance and Protection of Victims and Potential Victims of Human Trafficking.

During the public lesson, students, master's degree candidates, and doctoral students from Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University were introduced to the theoretical foundation in the field of preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, as well as providing assistance and protection to victims of domestic violence.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has always supported and joined national initiatives aimed at raising societal awareness to stop violence directed against women and girls.

The event was moderated by Dr. Efrosinia Haheu-Munteanu, university associate professor.
