Students and faculty were informed about:
- The regulatory framework for preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, harmonizing the legal framework with the provisions of the Istanbul Convention (Mr. Petru Lupu, representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection);
- The role of the police in preventing and combating domestic violence (Mr. Artur Dilion, representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs);
- Providing assistance and protection to victims of domestic violence within the centers (Ms. Rodica Moraru, Center for Assistance and Protection of Victims and Potential Victims of Human Trafficking);
- Preventing domestic violence through actions promoting gender equality (Ms. Nina Lozinschi, Gender Equality Platform).
A question-and-answer session followed, during which the active involvement of everyone in combating the phenomenon of domestic violence was discussed.
