The center will operate based on the American model, in which police, doctors, forensic experts, lawyers, psychologists, social workers, and representatives of specialized NGOs work under the same roof, 24/7, to provide support to women and children in urgent need of help. This way, evidence will be collected quickly, and the number of traumatic interviews and interrogations for survivors of violence will be significantly reduced.
To seek help from the Family Justice Center of the Police, individuals can call the emergency service 112 or the Women and Girls' Trust Line: 0 8008 8008.
