The training event was attended by 56 specialists, including heads of the "Community Social Assistance" service within territorial social assistance structures, supervising social workers, and community social workers.
The aim of these trainings was to improve the professional capacities of social assistance personnel in identifying, protecting, and rehabilitating crime victims. Through these sessions, the focus was on enhancing knowledge of victims' rights, current legal regulations, and intersectoral cooperation to ensure a coordinated and effective response to victims' needs.
The sessions included presentations, interactive discussions, and practical activities designed to strengthen the necessary knowledge and skills in case management and specific interventions for human trafficking situations. The training sessions were organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova, with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Moldova.
